Got the vegan chick’n on rice. Was ok, liked the char from the grill on the “meat” but was lacking in sauce im used to on plates like this. Maybe I should have checked or asked. Still was pretty good. Have had falafel from them before and it’s good ! Also got baklava and I don’t think I’ve seen one this big before. It was great after it warmed up in the car lol

My daughter took me here for lunch. The owner was great. It kind of reminds me of a north African open air restaurant. The location almost dictates a university student guest. The food was delicious. Flavors just popped in my mouth. There was a cre'me on my chicken and rice. The hot sauce was perfect.

Food was amazing, First time eating here. I got the Rice and Chicken Lunch Special. Wow, it was amazing. I am from Michigan and this was like eating Middle Eastern in Michigan. Amazing. I should of ordered it again today but tried something new. ugh When you find something you like just stay with it. Thanks for the amazing real food.

These guys are great. Open late, great food, good deals especially if you order online. Good amount of parking in the back if it's busy out front. The mint lemonada shake is now one of my favorite things to drink - period.

Got the lamb gyro rice, grilled chicken rice, philly cheesesteak and cheeseburger. They do an amazing job with the food and service is good too. Spoke to the owner who also enjoys being the chef and he is an amazing person. Must visit!

I 1st had food from this place when I ordered from one of the food delivery apps. The restaurant itself was an old bar on the University of Akron Strip, which is now a distant memory. I have to tell you that if I had to order from here based on driving up to the restaurant that it would likely never happen. The street is under construction, which makes it difficult to access. The place needs some brightening. The outside needs some TLC. The inside was under-lit and dim. It was very bar like, but even then it's old time 70's bar like.The food that I have had from here is really good and hold a strong value on quality and portions for the price. The New York City chicken dish is a treat. There is a ton of chicken. The chicken is grilled to perfection and well seasoned. There are onions, lettuce, tomatoes and seasoned rice, with a yogurt sauce drizzle. I was amazed by it the 1st time that I ordered, but then (I believe) someone substituted mayo for the yogurt sauce on the second time that I ordered and destroyed the balance. I didn't order for several years. I saw a food channel that covered the food trucks in NYC that served the Halal Chicken and it made me recall this place. Another thing that is missing is the ability to add or change meat from the food delivery apps. If I wanted to add or substitute Gyro meat on my Halal bowl I should be able to get it for a fee. I ordered the "New York City's Finest", Mid East Halal Chicken .It was delicious!! So fresh and good with or without the yogurt sauce.I did order through Door Dash and it was still nice and warm when it arrived!I will definitely order from here again!!

Food and service was great! Chef was really kind and came out to talk to us. Really really good food. I would not suggest eating inside if you don't like hookah smoke. This is a hookah bar as well as a restaurant
